Delivering an address at Queens

BSH at Queens

Brian delivered an informative address to postgraduate students at Queens University on biomass technology and the heating modular system. During the presentation he detailed several case studies, described the working of the system and explained how many of our customers, have been able to install a renewable heating source, after receiving support from the government via Renewable Heat Incentive.

At the presentation, the new Desertcreate facility was discussed and Brian posed the question - why is the government not installing several dedicated wood pellet boilers on the new site under RHI, rather than on large wood chip boiler that would need extensive underground piping, with the potential for massive heat lost – plus cost taxpayers money.

The students who are currently on placement with various government ministers, found the presentation extremely interesting and raised additional avenues of investigation we could progress.
